Happy New Year! Hope you all had a fun time ringing in the New Year. I know we’ve already moved on to 2014 but I wanted to take a quick look back at 2013. I came across this quote on Pinterest the other day: “My life isn’t perfect, but it does have perfect moments.” So true. I don’t think anyone’s life is perfect, but we certainly do have perfect moments.
2013 was full of perfect moments for me. It made me realize the value of sharing and documenting these moments on the blog. It was fun to go back through old posts and relive all of the fun moments of 2013.
2013. It was a year full of perfect moments, like watching the sun rise while working out on the beach or watching the sun set over Lake Champlain, traveling to Spain & Switzerland, Las Vegas, Vermont & Florida, enjoying nice dinners with friends and walking along the water in Boston, attending the Red Sox victory parade, watching Oto run freely on the beach and falling in love with the water, watching the Farmer’s Market grow & prosper, eating authentic Spanish Paella or cooking up a big dinner of steamers & lobsters after a day at the beach, enjoying an afternoon at the vineyard and attending our first polo match, watching my brother graduate law school and begin his career as a lawyer, beach bootcamp & crossfit, golf & tennis, skiing & snowshoeing, paddle boarding & swimming, dancing & hiking, watching fireworks over the harbor, apple picking & blueberry picking, attending Laurel & Jared’s wedding, Matt & Alicia’s wedding and seeing one of my best friends give birth to a beautiful baby girl.
I can only hope that 2014 will bring as many smiles, fun times and perfect moments. To a bright & happy New Year!
