Hey guys, sorry that its Wednesday and this is the first time I’m checking in this week. Its been a busy few days!
I’ve been loving the warmer weather for grilling so our meals have been rather simple lately. Last night I grilled up some chicken along with some grilled green beans, portobello mushrooms and roasted radishes. It was so simple, so good, and so summer. I have a whole list of fun recipe ideas to try so I’m hoping I have some time soon to get busy in the kitchen.
Time to get started with What I Ate Wednesday!
For lunch I had a Red’s Chicken Burrito along with a salad of romaine, onions, tomatoes, carrots & beets.
For a snack before cross fit I had a little cereal with sliced banana and almond milk.
For dinner we grilled up some burgers with spinach salad, strawberries & walnuts and a few Alexia Smart Classic fries.

WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY:
This weekend we went to a fabulous wedding in Jamestown Rhode Island. It was so quintessentially New England complete with a lobster bake on the beach. All of the details were done beautifully and we had such a good time. I know some people dread going to weddings but what is not to like? You get to celebrate the joy of friends or family getting married while dancing, eating and having a great time! A picturesque setting, lobster and sunset on the beach doesn’t hurt either…:)
