WIAW #65


Happy Wednesday!  Is it really Wednesday?  I seriously just sat here for a minute thinking, “wait, isn’t it Monday today, why am I doing a WIAW post? Crap, I got the days mixed up!” Then I remembered that awesome Monday holiday thing and here we are on Wednesday again.  Yay for a short week, but also, “oh crap” for a short week (too much work, too little time!)

Let’s look at some eats!  For breakfast I had 1/2 an ezekiel english muffin with almond butter and a green smoothie with clementine, banana, pineapple, avocado, kale & spinach.


Want to know how fried my brain is right now?  I sat down to eat my lunch and took my phone out to take a picture.  I unlocked my phone.  I sent a text message. I checked an email. Then I ate my lunch.  CRAP! Sorry – I suck. I can’t even remember to take a photo these days.  Anyways, the other half of my lunch consisted of half a bagel topped with an egg and sliced avocado.


For a snack I had a bowl of popcorn and a kiwi.  Fun fact – did you know that kiwi has more vitamin C than an orange?  I’m trying to boost up my immune system with everyone getting sick these days.  It seems to be working so far!


Apparently I was going with a green, white & brown theme today without even realizing it.  For dinner we had quinoa topped with roasted broccoli, chicken and sweet peanut sauce.  It was pretty freaking delicious or as Tom called it “delumptuous” which I’m guessing means both delicious and scrumptious.

We had a fun weekend in NH getting some skiing in on the fresh powder.  There’s nothing better than that feeling after a long day of skiing when you take off your boots and feel FREE AGAIN!
