Happy Wednesday! Umm, I don’t know about you but I’m ready for spring. Enough of this winter crap! I’d like to be able to go outside without spending 10 minutes layering up with boots, jackets, gloves and hats. I want to go to the Farmers Market and eat fresh, locally grown fruit for breakfast. I want to go for long runs on the beach and have my afternoon walks with Oto back. Only a few more months to go,…I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…
For lunch I had a mexican chicken & roasted corn mixture over mashed sweet potatoes and some diced avocado on top.
For a snack before cross fit I had a piece of bread with peanut butter and a banana. I was glad I did because holy crap, it was a doozy! The WOD consisted of a 1000m row, 2 strict pull ups, 2 squat cleans, 11 hand stand push ups, 75 box jumps, 80 wall balls, 73 burpees and another 1000m row. Yup, I’m dead. I totally earned the pasta we had for dinner.
For dinner we had some quinoa pasta topped with some tomato sauce and sweet italian sausage and a spinach salad.
….AND….I’m ready for bed.
WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY:
Watching the olympics.
It makes me so happy to see the entire world put aside their differences and come together to do something peaceful in the name of good competition.
