Whoa. Today is my 50th day doing WHAT I ATE WEDNESDAY. 50. Five. Zero. That’s a lot of smoothies, eggs and popcorn! Its funny being a food blogger and going back through your archives and realizing how much food you actually shove into your body in a lifetime. On a normal daily basis, hours pass and you get hungry and you eat and you forget about the last meal. But not on here. Oh no. Its documented for the world to see. Forever. I hope you guys have had fun looking at the pounds of food that I’ve been eating the past 50 weeks. Let’s look at some more!
For breakfast I had a
The smoothie actually got me all the way to lunch without having to eat anything else, I was impressed.
For lunch I had a smorgasborg (<<– got the spelling right on the first try, victory!) of leftovers. I had a little piece of chicken with some peanut sauce, a few pieces of swordfish, an arugula pepper & artichoke salad and some roasted broccoli with some whoop ass (see below). How’s that for variety?
We found the coolest little specialty food store this weekend in Boston called The Bee’s Knees Supply Company. We picked up a few truffles and this can of whoop ass. Its a blend of a million different spicy spices and its delicious! It definitely whoops some ass. I can’t wait to see what type of google traffic I get now that I’m writing about Whoop Ass.
For a snack I had a crispy juicy cortland apple from the farmer’s market. I’m trying to eat up all our apples before we go apple picking next weekend and the ENTIRE fruit drawer will need to be dedicated to the new guys.
I had a late workout so I came home and had a simple dinner, a burger with an arugula salad. Nothing special but it got the job done.
Happy Wednesday everyone!
WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY:
Having a good belly laugh. By yourself.
There is something so genuine about laughing by yourself. No people to please, no impressions to make, just laughing because something is funny and you truly want to laugh. It just feels so good. Today I took a nice long walk with Oto. He stopped under this tree to sniff around and so I thought it would be super cute to take an autumn picture with him sitting nicely under the tree and then a fall leaf in the foreground. Apparently he had a different idea. Just as I was snapping the photo he jumped up, grabbed the leaf out of my hand and ate it. It made me laugh but then I went back and saw how the actual photo turned out. I literally fell on the ground laughing. By myself. And it was awesome. Thanks Oto.
