Hope you all had a great weekend! We had our annual holiday party on Saturday and it was a great success! We had a wonderful group of close friends, we lit the Christmas tree & ate WAYY too much food! I made a ton of appetizers and I was a little worried that we would be eating appetizers for dinner for the rest of the week but they ate it ALL! I’ll be sharing some of my new appetizer recipes later this week but I just wanted to show you this one real quick.
I can’t take credit for it, I saw it on one of my favorite food blogs last week and I knew that I had to make these immediately! They were so good! Head on over to How Sweet It Is for the recipe.
Creamy goat cheese mixed with bacon pieces, & roasted red pepper rolled in crunchy pistachios and MORE bacon! They were really rich so I only ate one or two but they were heaven. They went really fast, so apparently everyone else enjoyed them too.
I’ll be back later this week with some other great recipes like Spicy Asian Cocktail Meatballs and my new favorite: Super Easy Shrimp Puffs.
WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY:
It’s always a lot of work but I absolutely love entertaining. It’s great to see people having a good time and enjoying good company and good food. Here’s a pic of me and some of my girl friends on Saturday.
Here is a picture of the tree all lit up with candles:
It was beautiful as always, and NOONE caught on Fire! yay!
